Field Trip and Dinner Meeting - Herkimer Diamonds. Field trip focus is on high accuracy mapping, structural Geology and stratigraphy of the Little Falls Dolostone and quartz bearing zones. Evening presentation expands on field trip content.

The Northeast Section of the American Institute of Professional Geologists (NE-AIPG) and the
Hudson Mohawk Professional Geologists Association (HMPGA) are cohosting a
Spring Meeting and Student Expo on
Wednesday, April 15th, 2026.

There will be an afternoon field trip to tour and discuss geothermal systems at Steamboat Square in Albany, NY, and
an evening Professional/Student Networking event with a student poster session, social/networking, dinner,
and a talk on hydrogeophysical tools and data for geothermal mapping and site characterization.
Geology Students, Faculty, and Professionals are encouraged to attend.
The event is free for students presenting a poster.
